If you provide information about your health, injuries, medical conditions or physical limitations, this is treated as special category personal data under UK data protection law.
I collect and use this information only where it is relevant to your participation in Pilates, including to help me assess your needs and provide sessions that are appropriate and safe.
Where required, I will rely on your explicit consent to process this information. You may withdraw your consent at any time. However, if I do not have information that is necessary to assess whether it is appropriate for you to participate in a session, I may not be able to provide that session safely.

I will only use your personal information where I have a lawful basis for doing so.
Depending on the circumstances, this will include:

Where another organisation processes personal information on my behalf, I will take appropriate steps to ensure that your information is handled securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law.
8. Invoices and payments
The Studio currently accepts payments via Paypal and Stripe or issues invoices directly to clients. I may retain information such as your name, address, invoice details, amounts paid and payment dates in order to administer the Studio’s finances and comply with applicable accounting and tax requirements. I do not normally need to collect or store your full bank or card details.
9. How long will I keep your information?
I will only keep your personal information for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Some information, particularly financial and accounting records, may need to be retained for longer periods to comply with legal or tax requirements.
Health and Pilates-related information will be reviewed periodically and securely deleted when it is no longer reasonably necessary for the provision of your sessions or for another legitimate purpose. When information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or destroyed.
10. How I keep your information secure
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. This includes taking appropriate care over electronic devices, passwords, email accounts, paper records and any third-party services used to operate the Studio.

Depending on the circumstances, you have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to:
ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you;
ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
ask me to delete your personal information where there is no good reason for me to continue holding it;
ask me to restrict how I use your information in certain circumstances;
object to certain uses of your information; and
withdraw consent where I am relying on consent as the lawful basis for processing your information.
These rights are subject to certain legal exceptions and limitations. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact hello@jadespilates.com.
